About Digicide
Digicide is a Space Rock band from South Florida. Digicide was formed in 2010 by Larry Suglio (drums) and Dan Kwains (bass). James Stewart (guitars), Jason Sedawie (guitars), and Jonathan Whittaker (vocals) joined shortly thereafter. Their 1st release was a track on the Hum Tribute album - Songs of Farewell & Departure: A Tribute to Hum, where they covered the track "Comin Home". They recorded the track at Miami Beach Recording Studios and it was mixed by Chris Badami (Midtown, The Early November, Mike Patton w/ Dillinger Escape Plan) of Portrait Recording Studios in New Jersey. The band wrote new music after the tribute was released, briefly working on a live set, but James Stewart, Dan Kwains, and Jason Sedawie ultimately left the band after a hiatus on good terms. Suglio continued to write new music and track it himself in his home studio, handling the guitar, drums, and bass duties and bringing Whittaker back to handle the vocals. They demoed new material and found they had enough for a full album, which they recorded at Suglio's home studio and Miami Beach Recording Studios in 2012. The band is currently finishing up their debut album for a 2013 release.
