About Die Walter Elf
Die Walter Elf was a German Punkband from Kaiserslautern which was founded in 1982. The Name of the band refers to the so-called "Walter Elf", yon German national soccer team which won the Worldcup in 1954. The Band belonged, together with the Spermbirds, to the flagships of the Kaiserslautern punk rock scene. After their farewell concert (December 17 1991) at the arts center "Kammgarn" at Kaiserslautern they did two reunion gigs at the same venue. The first at December 20 2002 and the second at December 30 2005. Most of the Die Walter Elf members are now members of the band Kick Joneses!
