Diagonale des Yeux is a new band formed by EYE and panoptique (Parasite Jazz, Simple Music Experience...). Their homemade world drifts along the fringes of cabaret, strange 1980s French underground pop music to contemporary lo-fi scene — evoking the spirit of Nini Raviolette and The Residents — while delivering beautifully written songs that lodge themselves in your head almost immediately like a Cindy Lee ballad.
