About Devil Shy
Devil Shy is a one man operation, created solely by composer Frank Reynders. Frank is originally from Kiewit, Hasselt, Limburg (Belgium). He originally played under the name Rey Knarf (1996), DJ-ing around (1997) and later performing as L.S.Dog (1998); all in the experimental psychedelic-dance music genre. In 2006 Frank became "Deviland" creating old school/electro/new wave and in 2008 “Deviland” changed to “Devilandshy”. Adding an additional artist... (Maren Northway/voice and text with Frank Reynders /music, voice, text and comic strip/video) the band became as it is now known now “Devil Shy.” In 2012 Maren Northway went her own way. And Frank Reynders as “Devil Shy” continues to experiment, grow and create beautiful, intelligent soundscapes that explore inner wars, fears and the darkness in all. As a side project Frank Reynders also tours with the band Hermaxiss as keyboardist.
