About Derek Jevens
Derek Lee Jevens (born June 14, 1988) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician who comes from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, United States. Derek has been writing his own music since 2004 and used to play with Twilidyne. He began writing music when he was sixteen years old. He was inspired by the likes of Keane and Coldplay. Over time his musical taste spread into bands and artists such as The Killers, Pink Floyd, Lady Gaga, Owl City, Muse, David Archuleta, and many others. In 2010 Derek released a digital ep called The Demo Album (Digital EP) which contained a few hand picked songs Derek had written and produced over the last few years prior. He is currently in the process of writing his first debut album. Its release date is yet to be determined. Derek has played a few shows including open mic's and variety shows. He is also currently working on a full live set.
