About Deplore
Deplore was a German alternative rock band from the area of Bremen and Bremerhaven formed in 2008, which is currently on hold. Some of its members are already active and known from other bands (e. g. She Died On Friday) and projects (e. g. Garden Grows). The current lineup (as of July 2008) includes Lars Peterke (vocals), Adrian Kussin (guitar, backing vocals), Niels Paul (guitar) and Miriam Frerks (bass). The drummer canceled her membership before the band's initial formation due to a lack of time. The band's influences are widely spread covering a large amount of genres, including Punk, Emocore, Contemporary Alternative Rock, Grunge, Post-Punk, New Wave, Gothic or Industrial Rock. As of late 2008 the band is on hiatus. Paul founded the indietronics project dplr using vocal samples of Peterke and released the first song in January 2009.
