In 2018, Demi Lee participated in Die Kontrakt . It was a reality singing competition in which eight aspiring music stars were selected from nearly 2,000 singers after a nationwide online campaign. They were trained by mentors for the knock-out concerts they had to face week after week. Demi Lee and Ivan Roux were the last two contestants left and Demi Lee ended up winning.
