About Deltason
Deltason is the music of Scottish electronica producer, Stuart Cameron. It often features collaborations with other musicians and friends including turntablist, Colin Campbell, who also performs live with Stuart. This artists' music combines warm electronica with live instrument recordings, intricate drum programming, and sampling. Born in Falkirk, Scotland, he has released an album 'Solar Phases' (2012) on Section 27 netlabel, has had 2 EPs released through Acousmatic Records and recently, has contributed tracks to Section 27 compilation releases, "We Are One" "Sectioned v2.0" and "Sectioned v3.0" and on compilation releases by Burnt Progress and The Big Chill. Deltason has also remixed tracks for Capitals and also for Neotropic (Architects and Heroes). Deltason have played live at Glasgows electronic music night "Tronic", Le Weekend Festival, and Plastic People in London as part of the Burnt Progress CDR sessions. Influences range from Warp / Rephlex / Planet Mu styles of idm electronica, to melodic, electronica artists such as Infinite Scale, Minotaur Shock, Fourtet and Boards of Canada.
