DECADES BY NIGHT An electro-trio formed in 1981 by MICK & NEALE, both ex members of ALL THE MADMEN, both guys were responsible for synths, drum machines, & taped effects, with ex BEYOND THE WALL bass player GARY JEWESS on vocals. Original working title for the band was The BELGIUM 5, they were more experimental than ALL THE MADMEN, influenced by Cabaret Voltaire and P-I-L, amongst others. Played just one gig at Quenchers in Hanley, and recorded one song – Life Spiral – which was released as a single on SLIP RECORDS, as a double-A side with two tracks from The SONS OF MONKEYS. All three would again work together in THE FRIENDLY CAMPAIGN.
