About Death of a Nation
Formed in 2005 and were quickly snatched by Merseyrock.co.uk. DOAN's lineup consists of Sean Dudley (vocals), Sean Gallagher (bass and vocals), Tez Dudley (guitar and vocals) and Matt Jennion (drums). Early in their career the band were voted one of the Merseyrock Fanzines 'top ten' new local bands to watch in 2006. During their time, the band have toured with dBd, Final Warning and many more. They have also supported Edweners Rock School (Ed Banger) and Bad Manners at the Newton Music Festival. The band's first E.P. Bite The Bullet is eagerly sought after and is regularly listened to on the local circuit. Predominantely a guitar driven punk band, DOAN produce music rich in melody that can sit alongside rock or hard core punk bands with no effort. Think of The Clash but with more bite and variety in their repertoire. From the soaring, foot stomping sounds of 'Kilburn Banshee' to the anthemic punk classic 'Deadbeat Man'. This band seriously rocks it up big time. www.myspace.com/deathofanationuk
