DeafMind is the rapidly expanding collaborative project of Portlandbased EDM producers/DJs, Art Drots and Austin Trafficante, a.k.a MyMind & HalfDeaf. The duo started the project in 2013 after exploring niche genres like Future Garage, Minimal Techno, and Deep Dubstep. DeafMind represents an effort to infuse the EDM/Rave scene with more Trap and Bounce influenced 100 BPM Twerk music with the singular goal of creating high energy parties. “These guys aren't just some bass junkies looking for the deepest wobble or pitched vocal sample.
