About De Tazsos

De Tazsos started as two men band in summer of 2000 initiated by old primary school friends – Patreze (bas guitar) and Jolski (guitar). In the beginning of 2001 Pomek (drums) joined the band and from this moment regular rehearsing was possible, but soon they have to stop whole thing as Jolski has started his army service. In 2003 they found constant place for rehearsing and recorded their first amateur demo, but because of its bad quality band never used to distribute it. In 2003 they also made their very first gig on punk open-air mini-festival and in the summer they supported Mad Heads, Kathy-X and Robotix on Warsaw "Psychobilly Night IV". In early 2004 they recorded one number "Ludzie koty" (Cat people) for compilation "Psycho Attack Over Poland" which was published by Jimmy Jazz records and soon realized their second amateur demo. In next years they played also several gigs supporting some foreign bands as Kings Of Nuthin', Meantraitors, Thee Suspenders (ex-Slapping Suspenders), Kathy-X (again), Hormonas or Hounded Prisoners. In autumn of 2006 they recorded 5 songs in studio owned by the musicians of The Kolt (ex-Robotix), then self realized it as demo cd-r "Hymen Killer". In February 2007 they recorded next 5 songs in the same studio – both sessions are to be published as debut De Tazsos CD.
