About Dave Griffiths
Dave Griffiths is a singer-songwriter, frontman and producer from England. He has consistently cut his own groove by making critically acclaimed records, touring constantly and relentlessly pursuing creative fulfilment. From 1996 to 2011 Dave fronted BOSH, a rock band formed with his drummer brother, Mike. BOSH released many recordings, most notably the album ‘Sound the Alarms’ in 2008 and ‘The Gloaming Hour EP’ in 2009. In 2012, Dave launched a ground-breaking project making music for the church called Chaos Curb Collaboration, bringing together many different musicians from across the UK scene. The self-titled debut album and it’s 2014 follow-up, ‘Everywhere’ garnered widespread praise. As a solo artist, Dave released a mini-album ‘The Way Through The Land’ in 2013 and a full-length LP in 2016 entitled ‘Here & Now’. By the mid-2010’s, Dave was in demand as a songwriter and producer for other artists. Dave has worked with some well-known names in the church-music community including Martin Smith, Paul Oakley, Marc James and Joe Hardy. 2017 saw the release of a couple of synth-wave pop singles under the moniker ‘VYDYO’. Dave has always written music inspired by his Christian faith, but has always wanted to resist being pigeonholed as a ‘Christian artist’. Just as much at home in the pub-venue on a Saturday night as in front of the congregation on aSunday morning, Dave is a keen believer in the joy of music being a force to unite and uplift people regardless of colour or creed
