About Daryl Palumbo
Daryl Palumbo (born February 10, 1979) is an American musician, originally from Bellmore, NY. He's the current frontman of Glassjaw, Head Automatica, and Color Film. As a youth, he was a member of the Long Island straight edge band XbustedX. In 1993, he met guitarist Justin Beck, who would become his good friend. Together they formed Glassjaw. He has Crohn's disease, which has inspired some of his songwriting, most notably on Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence. Palumbo has collaborated with many different artists including Alien Ant Farm, The Movielife, Ray Cappo, The Rondo Brothers, Silent Majority, Every Time I Die, Finch, Cage Kennylz, This Is Hell, and Handsome Boy Modeling School. He also co-produced, and contributed guitar, bass, and synthesizer, to Cold Cave's second full-length album, Cherish the Light Years.
