About Dark Ofay Din
DOD was born in a granny's spare room around 2007. Using a laptop and a virtual studio the first batch of demos were pieced together to create more than 26 tracks of various quality. Most of these tracks were released online in mp3 format as an independant production. Heading away from the birthplace of Scotland, the creator of DOD settled in the far eastern city of Hong Kong in 2008. It was there that he decided to set up his independant arts production company: GeoSolus Dark Arts. As of 2009 the GeoSolus Dark Arts studio became fully functional and the music of Dark Ofay Din more defined in its approach. A mix of strings, electronics and various vocals being the core of the sound to create brooding atmospheres and philosophical whims.
