Danyl Aaron Johnson born on the 17th of July 1982 from Reading, Berkshire, came fourth in the popular UK TV show The X Factor in 2009; he was mentored by Simon Cowell who described his audition as "the best first audition I have ever heard". Danyl was one of six entries shortlisted for the UK's entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, with his song "Light Up the World". It will compete on January 27th 2017.
