About Danny Prime

Dan Goldberg, aka "Danny Prime" is a rapper, producer, and composer from Long Island, New York. Beginning his career at the young age of 11 with a small setup in his basement that he used to make beats, he quickly progressed as an artist both creatively and resourcefully. After taking a few years to improve his beat making, Dan decided to explore the art of audio production. As a sophomore in high school, he began recording local rappers from his school over his original beats and after getting his feet wet, began recording himself as a rapper. Excited to improve his skills in recording, he put aside time every day to work in the studio either at school or at home until he was ready to take his career to the next level. By Dan's junior year, he was not only working as a paid recording engineer for wide variety of rappers and singers from all over Long Island, but was well into the creation of his first mixtape "Fear vs Fantasy," which is a project completely self written, produced, and performed with the exception of a handful of local singers. Dan is now a Freshman at Northeastern University where he is studying music technology and working on his currently untitled sophomore mixtape.
