#1 Danny Pearson (Daniel Earl Pearson, Racine, Wisconsin, U.S., January 6, 1953 - August 17, 2018) was an American soul singer and songwriter. He released the 1978 album "Barry White Presents Mr. Danny Pearson", which was produced by the legendary Barry White for his new Unlimited Gold label. The lead single from the album, "What's Your Sign Girl?", peaked at #16 on the U.S. R&B charts and at #108 on the Billboard 200. 2) Danny Pearson is a singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist. He is perhaps foremost known as the bass player in American Music Club. His work features collaborations with both J.C. Hopkins, Mark Kozelek (Sun Kil Moon, Red House Painters),Jeff Ament(Pearl Jam) and many more. Danny's music is mostly stark, spare and real sounding, with cello, piano, double bass, bells and ethereal tape echoes revealing influences that range from Swedish poet Tomas Transtromer to Waylon Jennings and the painter Russel Chatham.
