About Daniele Ciullini

He started in 1978 from an initial interest in photography, then went to mail art. Until 1980 he participated in various exhibitions and publications and produced his own fanzine (The oxidized look) with contributions from graphic artists from all over the world. During this period he took part in many graphic creations of the TRAX multimedia project. From 1980 to 1986 he moved his field of action from mail art to music with the production of his own audio cassettes with fanzines (Domestic exile, Nuances), participations in various tape-compilations, radio broadcasts (Swedish national radio, RAI, broadcasters clubs in Florence) a compilation on vinyl (Trax- Extra, L'enfer est intime). After a long pause in 2011 he published his first work (The kiss of the siren) as a CD attached to the Bau art magazine and promoted by some European netlabels (Quantum bit, Digitalkunstrasen, Editoria do Porto). The London-based label Strut records has included an old piece of it (more icons) in its Mutation compilation published in 2013. In 2014 he published a second work (Music for abandoned architecture) distributed by Audioglobe which was followed in 2014 by a third work (Resti) and two ep (Forgotten flowers, Sound Recycling Terminal (again). The first in download on Quantum bit, Editoria do Porto, Ephedrina. The second on Edched traumas. The third on blog1000 flights. The Catalan label Domestica records will release an LP compilation on electronic music from the 80s in Europe in 2015 which will contain another of his old pieces (Marbles in the garden) taken from Domestic exile.
