About Dan Stone & Phil Young
Dan Stone & Phil Young met while working together in 2006 in Norwich, UK. Dan had already made some headway in the trance scene with one of his first releases 'Made In Bahrain' (Anjunabeats) gaining considerable plaudits. Dan has several years experience DJ'ing around the country and is a widely recognised up and coming producer. With airplay on national and local radio stations and featuring on several big-name internet radio shows, Dan is set to make 2009 his biggest year yet. Phil grew up to the sounds of the now classic 80's which sparked his interest in sound and synths. Heavily influenced by acid house, techno and old school breaks and rave, Phil is now collaborating with Dan and concentrating on trance music production. 'Summer Tide' is the first track to emerge under this new partnership and was immediately signed by Alter Ego Records. The follow-up, 'Frozen Shores', due for release in early 2009 sees the duo developing their style even further.
