After a successful "comeback" tour of Gabi Delgado without Robert Görl (both of Deutsch Amerikansiche Freundschaft) in 1993 under the name DAF OPD (On Public Demand, with playback music and remakes of old DAF hits) Gabi picked up the glove again and teamed up with Wotan Wilke for Daf.Dos ("Daf Two", variously tagged DAF DOS, DAF / DOS, DAF-DOS etc. The name was written variously on the covers). They produced new tracks in line with classic DAF themes but with a harder technobeat than the early 80s recordings. They released two albums together, Allein, Zu Zweit, Mit Telefon and Der DAF/DOS Staat and toured extensively before calling it quits. Later, in 2003 Gabi and Robert reunited for a new album with the classic setting of Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft, again with a further modernized sound, but also finding the way back to the more laid back style of the 80s records.
