DJ Gazi is a Kurd from north-west Kurdistan and has been resident in Copenhagen in Denmark for the lost 20 years. DJ Gazi is Musician, DJ, Performer, Producer and Scriptwriter. Şivan Perwer is a poet, a singer a performer on the tembur and a leading Kurdish artist. Şivan became famous during the period of Kurdish protests in 1972. Fearing for his life he fled to Germany in 1976, and recorded his first album of Kurdish traditional songs.
