About Die Zöllner

Dirk Zöllner was born in Berlin in 1962. The autodidact started his professional career in 1985 – with his band CHICORÉE. In 1986 he was classified as a professional musician. In 1987 he founded DIE ZÖLLNER, with whom he is still on the road today. In between he started projects like "Zöllners Russenconnection", "Die 3HIGHligen", "Ostende" and "Melancholia". After the turn of the millennium, he took on leading roles in »Jesus Christ Superstar« and »Fame« in Dresden, Munich, Pforzheim and Halle. For his 50th birthday, the versatile artist published his autobiography »The Distant Islands of Happiness«. He developed his own television show, »Café Großwahn«, and an internet talent show, »TischKunstKombinat Köpenick«. Numerous studio albums were released under his name, the last one entitled »Zack! bang! Cessions« in October 2019.
