About DAda'
Gaia Eleonora Cipollaro, known as DADA’, is a singer-songwriter who blends Neapolitan culture and world music with electronic and theatrical influences. The project began in 2021 with four singles: Jesche, Siente ’e rrise, Avena, and Gianna Oh. In 2022 she released Cavala, a hymn to life in its truest essence, and ’E Tte’ Tte’, a sonic ritual to ward off bad luck. In summer she released Aumm Aumm, presented live at the Jova Beach Party. In autumn she took part in X Factor in Fedez’s team, which introduced her to a wider audience. In spring 2023 she released La leggenda dei maccheroni, the soundtrack of the Miez’a Via campaign by Voiello. In summer her first tour of over 30 dates began, along with her first EP Mammarella, where each track is accompanied by a visual set in a different location in Naples. In January 2024 she released Doce Doce, for which DADA’ served as art director of a visual campaign inspired by the 1960s and the genius of Andy Warhol. The project was presented in a live exhibition at the Museo Madre in Naples. In December 2024 she created the audiovisual project Smorfiosa: 12 numbers of the Neapolitan Smorfia represented in 12 shots by Attilio Cusani, portraying DADA’ in outfits by Daria D’Ambrosio with scenography by Sara Ricciardi. On May 23, 2025 she released CORE IN FABULA, a concept album on fairy tales and her first full length album, for which she also served as visual art director. The album was presented live across Italy and as an opening act for the Italian tour of Massive Attack.
