About Cut ’n’ Move

Formed in Aarhus, Denmark, in the early '90s, Cut 'N' Move was one of the first Danish acts to produce eurodance. Hip-hop was a major influence, but Cut 'N' Move's recordings weren't made with rap in mind, and all of their hits are more eurodance than Hip-hop. Members included MC Zipp (rapper), Thera Hoeymans (vocals for the two first albums), Zindy Laursen (vocals) and producers/mixers Jorn K and Per Holm. Their first single "Get Serious" was a huge hit (also in some countries it was known as "Take No Crap" or "Get Serious/Take No Crap"). Later they had another big hit with the single – "Give It Up" a cover version of KC & The Sunshine Band. Other hits like "Peace, Love & Harmony" and "I'm Alive" also went on to become hits around the world.
