About Curbside Journal

Bio from Sun Sea Sky, the label that released Curbside Journal's lone album, 1999's Pacific Standard Time: Originally based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Curbside Journal began with intentions of simply having fun and later evolved into a mature, serious effort to make good music. The band is highlighted by two singer/songwriters. Curbside Journal's output might very well be considered heartfelt, left-of-center rock. Catchy and meaningful compositions often straightforward in approach yet complex on end. Previous to that lone album in 1999, they self released a five song cassette demo, which was recorded on June 14 & 15, 1997. The songs on the demo are: Opening Night, 10 Vacant 95, First Snowfall, Semeions & Semiconductors, Scratches Stay.
