Csermanek Lakótelep is a hungarian art-punk band with two members: Csabi (voice, synthesizer) and Szőnyeg (voice, bass, drum machine). The band formed from the ashes of the members' previous bands, Élettér-Elmélet and Matuska Szilveszter Pajtásai, in 2004 in Nagykanizsa. The band, as of 2007, released four albums: Magyar anyák! Szüljetek gyémánt ifjakat! (2005), Hangok közt két férfi (2006), Oh no, it's Csermanek Lakótelep (2007) and Munkák és napok (2008).
