About Csók És Könny

Csók és Könny were a Hungarian punk band formed around 2003 upon the ashes of Érdekfeszület with their singer "Father" Aberrált with the participation of all-around scene organiser and drummer Schleki, who brought with him bassist, Tonyó from his former band, 06-90. Csók és Könny are not "hardcore", nor are they fast, but with immensely catchy basslines and poetic lyrics they successfully depicted the state of Hungarian society filled with an atmosphere of hopelessness and no sense of any future, from which there is no escape. They released a demo in 2003 and a full-length album "Közhelyekkel telik" a napló in 2004. They became quite inactive in the second half of the '00s with only a show here and there. Aberrált and Schleki went on to form Yellow Spots.
