About Crystal Abyss

Crystal Abyss is a symphonic black metal band from Moscow, Russia, formed in May 1998. During the period 1999-2005 the band had an active concert career and made several recordings, the most noticeable is the EP "Sageness Fallen" released in 2001. In 2006 Crystal Abyss recorded a full length album titled "Word of the Darkest Ages". The album was recorded in Studio X by famous Polish producer Szymon Czech. The album was released in March 2007. In March 2007 Crystal Abyss performed on the main stage at the prestigious Metalmania Festival (Poland) along with Testament, My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost and other world class metal bands. In November 2009 the band has started the recording of its next album. The drum parts for this album were recorded by Dariusz "Daray" Brzozowski (Vesania).
