About Corvine
Corvine is/was an alternative rock band from Bergen, Norway. Their radio single "Matrix" went right on top of the Norwegian charts in 2000 and was a promising start of this band's career. In late 2000, a year after they got signed to EMI, they released their first and so far only EP, "Nova EP". The EP was critically acclaimed and another song from this EP, "Nova", got a lot of airplay on the radio. Their debut album was expected to be released in early 2001, but that never happened. They played the Roskilde Festival the same year. Then there was a big silence about this band until several years later when it was clear that they had broken out of the contract with EMI, and were signed to the Bergen based company Karisma Records. So after more than 5 years in the making, their debut album eventually came in 2005 and was simply called "Corvine". It's later rumoured that they would disband, but that is not confirmed.
