About Conductive

Conductive is a 4-piece rock band from the town where only metal meets the masses. Sandnes, Norway. From their start in Summer 2003 Conductive has recorded and released a 6-track EP titled Old Times. Released digitally on MySpace and their website in 2006. Their title track "Old Times" has been played on steroes from around the world and a TV Appearance as a soundtrack on TV Norge's Triplet show. The China Sessions a 2 track demo recorded in 2007 led the way to a bigger audience when "Sane" became a part of the Stavanger Rock City tracklist. A compilation with 21 great bands from Stavanger, Norway. Released in 10 000 copies all around China, as a part of the music magazine NOT. And now, 5 years since Conductive started, it is finally here. The bands first full-length album Identity Crisis, released for free on May 10. 2008. 6 fresh tracks and 2 bonus tracks from The China Sessions. Produced by Arvid Tjelta and recorded at Real Noise Studio. Conductive's former bass player and lead singer Kristian Brox left the band due to Military Services in 2006. And their current bass player Daniel Svendsen joined the band shortly thereafter. A Live Album recorded at a show at "Bryne Mølle" November 2006 was planned to be released January '07, but due to sound quality issues this album was never released. Although Conductive is currently without a drummer after Thomas Dretvik left to focus on his education, the band is planning their follow-up to 2008's hard rockin' Identity Crisis.
