About Clothoid÷Doll
Clothoid÷Doll is a very underground Japanese visual kei band, however, it's even more of a rarity, because of the female vocalist. VK is heavily dominated by the male talents of the Japanese Rock community, and many describe finding female vocalists as a 'breath of fresh air'. Clothoid+Doll is very raw in sound. Youka (or "Rinne" as she's sometimes credited as) takes a lot of inspiration for both her lyrics and vocal range, including Laputa. Her vocal abilities are 'smokey', and similar in some respects to Kana. Youka is the lead singer/songwriter of the band, but is also her own stylist and photo editor, designing her own photoshoots and clothing. Other band members are Aya on guitar, and Hikai on bass. They also have a drummer. Clothoid+Doll is very unknown in the English speaking fanbase, and is therefore very difficult to find information on. Partial
