About Claus Hempler

Claus Hempler is a Danish singer-songwriter. In 1981 he started the band Fielfraz with Nils Brakchi (bass) and Kenneth Priisholm (guitar). As a solo artist, Claus Hempler has released the coveralbum "Charm School for Pop Singers" (1999) and the rock albums "Hempler" (2004) and "Return of the Yes Man" (2007). He has also been guest vocalist on albums by other Danish artists such as Nikolaj Nørlund and Dicte. He was also among the artists who interpreted the classic songs of Leonard Cohen on the cd "På Danske Læber - 16 Leonard Cohen-sange i danske fortolkninger"(2004). Later Claus Hempler performed in numerous settings such as theatrical shows and has recorded and toured with Dicte. The album Uppers , a joined effort with Dicte (as Dicte + Hempler) shows that all his songwriting qualities are flourishing as good as ever.
