About Children of the Corn

There are multiple groups with this name: 1.) Children of the Corn was a rap group based in Westwood, Memphis in the early 1990s. Back in time they went as Westwood Click, but in 1995 the former member and MC Chi Chi gave the new name idea. Lately, it was relabeled as Graveyard Productions, whom followed to release 3 more projects until The Final Chapter. Although, Children Of The Corn itself had just a single tape under this name, being The Single (1995) The included members were the producer Lil Grim, Red Dog, Sweet Talk, Murda One a.k.a Mali, Chi Chi, Cocomo, Teflon, and lately Fly Mon, Myk Myk a.k.a Miss Krazy, Marco The Don, Captain Dre, Kavious and the brothers Mac E and Mac B. Later in 1997, Lil Grim released his solo project Blackhouse Undaground Mix, with help of his friend Adam Warren on baselines & guitarlines, and featured almost every member of the click. The homegirl Myk Myk joined the group 901 Thugz and even had a solo project in the early 2000s, but passed away in June 2010. The member Mac E (Eric Gales) is now days off of hip hop scene, and is a famous guitarrist in the M-town. He is oftenly confused with Lil E from Playa Posse, but they are two distinct folks. 2.) Children of the Corn is a rap group from Harlem, New York founded in the early 1990's by neighborhood friends and rappers Mase, Big L and cousins Cam'ron and Bloodshed. They recorded and released over 30 songs, as they tried for a record deal. They got paid anyway they could; rhyming for local DJ’s and selling tapes out of a trunk were just a few ways they tried to further their careers. They were just about to secure a deal but tragically in 1997 Bloodshed was killed in a car accident in Harlem, which split up the group. Big L went on to get a deal with Columbia and released his debut album, Cam’ron got himself a deal with Roc-A-Fella Records and Mase signed to Diddy's label Bad Boy Records.
