About Chianne
Chianne is a recording and performing artist and singer-songwriter, who focuses on creating beautiful, catchy, and meaningful songs. Delving into the eternal themes of love, authenticity, empowerment, self-love and healing, Chianne seeks to tell stories and connect with audiences on an emotional and subconscious level. Her purpose is to create conscious pop music in which her lyrics and music are impactful, is both relatable and catchy yet still socially and emotionally conscious; with the intention to inspire, empower, move and touch the hearts of the listeners. She possesses a vocal range of 4 octaves, including a whistle register as well as a modern-day mix that crescendos with spellbinding emotive undertones. Born into a musically inclined family, she began playing the piano at the age of 8 and despite many varied talents and interests, she found music to be the vehicle by which she expresses herself authentically. She is a multi-lingual; performing songs in Italian, English, French, Spanish, and Turkish. Born and raised in Ankara, Turkey, and an Italian Citizen; Chianne also garnered a degree in International Relations and studied Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni in Italy, and she worked at various fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs as a designer before she fully recognized and chose to respond to her calling of Music. Her journey took her all around the world and she’s lived in world capitals such as Istanbul, Milan, New York, Amsterdam, Sydney, Luxembourg and eventually settling in Los Angeles in 2014 where she’s finally launched her music career. She has also received formal education in Music most notably at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles (2014), (2016), The Songwriting School of Los Angeles (2015), and VocalizeU Music Camps (2014), (2015). Chianne also has numerous online certifications in songwriting, production, facilitated by industry leaders such as Charlie Puth and Ryan Tedder. She is also a Reiki II Certified Practitioner and certified NLP life coach. She’s completed many certifications in personal development and spirituality such as Landmark Education, Tony Robbins UPW just to name a few. She likes to teach music and work with children; she’s organized an “Empowerment and Creativity Summer Camp” for the Homeless Kids in skid row in Los Angeles and being a relatively late-bloomer on following her true passion on music; she is passionate about supporting children finding their passions at an early age and following their dreams. She was a finalist in the annual 97.1 AMP Radio We Can Survive concert's Opening Act competition out of 14,000 competitors; that is held at the legendary Hollywood Bowl In Los Angeles in October 2019. Her recent song "Truly Free" also brought her a semi-finalist position in “The Road To Nashville”’s international song contest. She was in the top 50 out of over 20,000 submissions from 31 countries, proving her global appeal and success. The contest was a joint initiative by both mayors from the biggest music cities in the world- Nashville USA and Liverpool. Her song “New Me '' was charted number one on WVYC Radio and is featured in the soundtrack for the Young Artist Award-winning film “A Holiday Homecoming” directed by two-time Telly Award-winning director Candice T. Cain. Chianne is making music that is driven by a desire to motivate, inspire, and tell her story her way. Her sound is a blend of different elements; New Age, a bit of Enya combined with classical mainstream pop sound. Besides music, she’s also providing sound healing and music therapy sessions and currently in Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Teacher Training.
