About Chatham Baroque
Chatham Baroque is a Pittsburgh-based ensamble specializing in 17th and 18th century music played on period instruments. Its distinctive sound integrates one or two baroque violins, a viola da gamba and a theorbo, lute or a baroque guitar. Founded in 1990, the ensamble has recorded seven CDs on the Dorian label. A number of guest artists appear on these recordings. The current members of Chatham Baroque are Andrew Fouts (baroque violin), Patricia Halverson (viola da gamba) and Scott Pauley (theorbo, lute and baroque guitar). Previous members of the ensamble included Julie Andrijeski (violin) and Emily Davidson (violin).
