2 bands have used this monicker: 1) A pop punk band from New Jersey, later renamed Crash Romeo and also stylized as Centsless. 2) A band from Portland. 1.) Cents Less/Centsless was a pop-punk band from New Jersey active in the late 1990s until 2004, when they changed their name to Crash Romeo and changed their sound to a more commercial style. During their tenure as Centsless, the band released Things Change and So Did You in 2000 and a self-titled EP in 2004, as well as numerous splits and 7 inches. After Crash Romeo signed to Trustkill and released their debut album in 2006, these releases became a bit of a hot commodity and have since fallen out of print. 2.) After meeting at fat camp in the summer of 2005 these lads from Portland took up to playing music together and have been inseparable ever since. They are working together at the local Subway during the day and playing their infectious brand of power pop for the local kiddies at night. They plan to sign a record deal and "Tour the World with Aerosmith" to quote lead singer Damien Mallo. They then want to "Hook up with Famous Chicks" to quote Bassist Reggie O'Henry. "Do a LOT of Drugs" says Lead Guitarist Peter Paul. "Die Like Rock Stars and Reincarnate Like Hindus" says Drummer Clark Zagnut III. Get in on them now so that you too can say "Hey, i dug these guys BEFORE they got big, so to speak."
