1) Rapper from Frankfurt, Germany 2) Drum & bass DJ / producer born in Salisbury, UK 1) German rapper Celo was born in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1982. The son of Bosnian immigrants, Celo worked in a call center where he met fellow rapper Abdi (b. Abderrahim El Ommali on August 7, 1987) in 2008. The two started to collaborate and released a free download mixtape titled Mietwagentape in 2010. The mixtape was popular enough to attract the interest of German rapper Haftbefehl, who signed the duo to his Azzlackz label. Hinterhofjargon, Celo & Abdi's debut album, was released in 2012 and charted at number eight in Germany. 2) Originally born in Salisbury in the UK, Celo began the path of drum & bass at the age of 15 after buying his first Helter Skelter tape pack, Energy 97. Leading to a desire to DJ after hearing sets from his idols Andy C, Ed Rush & Optical, Dillinja, Randall and many others, he bought his first 1210’s at the age of 18 and from there he was fully hooked.
