The great legend has it that the mightiest of beings were experiencing a sense of such elation that they decided to free some time up in the schedule of the bassist of the world renowned ambient jam-band, Alpha Centauri. On this magical day the mighty Warren approached his good friend Evan and took him up on the offer to “twinkle their balls off” in a twinkly emo band. Thus Catalog was born. Naturally, they turned to both Dylan and Ian to aid them in this quest. Ian was eager to help but Dylan got a little antsy for his hate of genres almost proved to be too much. Not only that but his apparent distaste for the less than apt musician, Ian, proved to be extremely noticeable and could have quite led to the immediate destruction of Warren and Evans hopes to impress Warner Bros. Records and land that headlining tour with My Chemical Romance. Luckily he was able to swallow his hateful conviction and rehearsals and jamming began. Writing, recording and the eating of all of Dylan’s food is currently taking place in his basement. Demo/EP/penis coming soon. *Since last.fm is silly and we couldn't create a page with the name catalog we decided to add a tail to our name.... :3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The band has been short lived and ultimately ended its short yet influential existence around wintertime of the year 2011 and only about two months after its initial creation. This sad end has been brought about due to creative indifference between the members and the incompetence of the members to recognize and honor the true musical genius of ex-catalog~* drummer Dylan. Pre-existing responsibilities and general disinterest mainly by the bands guitarist, Evan, also played a role in the bands downfall. However, despite the members differences, they all find time in their boring lives to get together and twinkle on, while reminiscing in the glory that was once Catalog~*. Evan went on to play in his high school's jazz band as a successful trombone player. He also formed some sort of odd trombone ensemble with some 3 or 4 other dudes that nobody knows/cares about. Warren re-united with his old ambient jam band, the mighty Alpha Centauri, and can be seen performing and touring around every 18+ bar on long island. Dylan, with the assistance of his trusty Korg "Kreg" Kaosillator, and "The Fortress", can be found jamming hard in his basement surrounded by broken drum sticks, empty root beer cans and shattered dreams. He also occasionally jams with other dudes that nobody knows/cares about. Ian found the courage to reveal his life long ambition to audition for American Idol, and attempted to become the world's greatest pop star. After being demoralized by Jennifer Lopez who ridiculed him for wearing shorter shorts than she does, Ian fled into isolation and has been spotted several times squatting behind local super markets while listening to "I Hate Myself" tracks on repeat. Catalog split into 3 bands after its break up. The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and Simple Plan.
