About Captain OWL
Captain OWL is an experimental electronic musical artist from the United States. They are likely most well-known as a member of Big Scary Orderlies since January 2011, although they have embarked on solo projects as well. In January 2011, they self-released a single solo song, Grim the []D [] []\/[] []D, and recorded a number of loose songs outside of Big Scary Orderlies vastly differing in style and tone. These were collected together for their first solo album, Sea Horse Gallery, released in August 2011. Later that year, having recently finished tracks for Big Scary Orderlies' ninth album, Don't Encourage the Youth; It's Not Even Real Music, they sought to create more optimistic and upbeat music; this resulted in the chiptune-influenced solo EP White Rabbit, released in February 2012.
