About CSOD

CSOD, Blackpool's Bastards of Noise, are Ligzig Rightguard (lead vocals), Cuffi Love (guitar and vocals), Our Jupes (bass and vocals) and Big Red (drums and Vocals). A 4-piece thrash metal/punk band influenced by, and likened to, Exodus, Misfits, GWAR and Metallica, CSOD began life as this line up in early 2012. Since then, the band have taken their music all around the UK, as well as releasing 3 6 track EPs called 666 Trilogy ('Beginning of the End' - 2012, 'Going Nowhere' - 2013, and 'Final Insult' - 2015) “ I think this 6 track collection shows development, if not of massive envelope pushing proportions, certainly in the strengthening of the foundation on which they build as a unit.” (Moose Mann of band Born to Destruct – Going Nowhere Review) "...if you’re a fan of bands like Mastodon, Exodus ... then give CSOD a punt or a pound or two – you won’t be disappointed!" (Planet Mosh) "Final Insult, released in May 2015, encompasses all of the factors of their previous releases into one pounding finish of raucous noise. So grab yourself a glass of rum and turn the volume up loud. Very loud." (Musically Fresh) CSOD have self-produced music videos for ‘No Way Out’, ‘Hate Thing’ and ‘Be Ready’ to accompany the 666 Trilogy. In 2013, the band worked with 2Beards to produce a one-take video in which the band gets pelted with paintballs whilst playing! All of the music videos can be found at www.youtube.com/csod The band likes to work hard and play harder! Not one to rest on their laurels, CSOD are working hard to write and record a full-length album as well as planning a 2016 UK tour!
