Cloth and Yod 801 were introduced to each other by a mutual friend on the Live Wired show of Front Line Assembly in Strassbourg/France. Since then the idea had been there to make music together. It became real finally, when the two decided to contribute a FLA cover version to the Replicate 01 compilation on MoMT Records in 2003. Until now they have recorded ten own tracks, which range from traditional EBM to hard-edged electro-industrial keeping in mind the current developments with future pop. Their complex but still catchy songs have successfully filled the dance floors in the clubs of their home town Karlsruhe/Germany. In autumn 2005 C8K had their first live show opening for Destroid, [:SITD:] and Absurd Minds. C8K are now ready to make the step into the music business conceiving themselves as guarantors for catchy EBM.
