About C.entrifuges
C.entrifuges (often written C.ENTRIFUGES or Centrifuges) is an Industrial Metal act hailing from the beaches of Wasaga, Ontario, CA in 2017. Manned entirely by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Matteo Ruscitti (also of RUSCITTI), C.entrifuges has been described generally as Industrial Metal with strong blends of Nu Metal, Groove Metal and Cyber Metal with additional strong hues of New Wave and Synthpop. Matteo Ruscitti himself cites this act to carry the self imposed genre Mnemic claims themselves to be; Future Fusion Metal, albeit with a more varied sound with its inspirations on its sleeves (namely the aforementioned Mnemic, Gary Numan, Devin Townsend, Fear Factory, 서태지 and Synthetic Breed.) Established in 2017 as "Nihonium", Ruscitti sought to combine the moodiness of grunge, the loneliness of Gary Numan's early material and the brutal mechanical pounding of Fear Factory's Demanufacture. By 2019, the hues of grunge were erased in favour for a more Nu Metal flavor of sound with Fear Factory's Obsolete and Seo Taiji's Seotaiji V as major influence; the name change to "Centrifuge" would solidify the change change in identity. C.entrifuges has worked with turntablist/dj/youtuber Captain Dugog (who works with Dropspike, Holiday Kirk) for the 2024 release VIRULENCE, as well as death metal vocalist Noah Bennett of Infinaught.
