About Céfiro
Céfiro it's a self tagged as experimental rock/gothic band from Santa Bárbara, Antioquia, Colombia. It begins on 2007, Juan Esteban leadened a group of 3 musicians, Santiago Sánchez with the bass and Edison Londoño with the drums, called Rivendell; but this (2008) year they decide to create a group with a "more serious" orientation, José David Charris comes in as the drummer on January, with him joining, the band takes Céfiro as band name and start searching for lead guitar. Edison Londoño pass to keyboard, Santiago Sánchez keeps playing bass and Juan Esteban Uribe with vocals and rhythm guitar. Céfiro has had many guitar players from Santa Bárbara and Caldas now Enrique is the guitarist. Band members: Edison Londoño (keyboard), Santiago Sánchez (bass), Luis Enrique Vilada (leading guitar), José David Charris (Drums) Juan Esteban Uribe (rhythmic guitar and vocals). Céfiro is a spanish word for the greek mythology god of west wind, wich means freedom They mark as influences to The Cure, HIM, Lacrimas Profundere, Placebo, APC, Coldplay, To/Die/For, poets and all the life's arrows, death, hate, love and everyday's wisdom.
