Made up of Sofa Sound alumni DLR, Molecular, and Genic, the announcement of this collaboration came out of nowhere, back in November 2024. DLR – What’s more to be said about DLR? An absolute legend, this Badmon has been releasing music since 2009, and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. The Bristol based producer is on top of the Drum & Bass world right now, and is the head honcho of Sofa Sound Bristol (Record Label). Molecular – Hailing from Porto, Portugual, Molecular has been making absolute waves in the DnB scene in the last couple of years. Releasing music since 2017, his debut album, Heritage & Sound, launched last year on Sofa Sound. Molecular is an absolute wizard when it comes to technical production, and has mastered the art of funky, dancefloor destroyers. Genic – A duo based out of the UK. They’ve dropped multiple albums, with the most recent being the monster “Process”, on Dispatch Recordings in 2023. Their sound is a combination of Bristol style roller / funk, with that classic 2000s Neuro Sci-Fi sound that is so lacking these days.
