About Brownie Mountain

Brownie Mountain are from the northern suburbs of Chicago. Their drummer has raccoon-like hair and they play mathy rock that would make fans of Piglet, Maps & Atlases and Don Caballero very happy. They cite Charles Barkeley as one of their main influences. They may or may not enjoy long, romantic walks on the beach. Their organ donation cards also list their beards. Shortly after the Great Cornelian Revolution of 1436 A.D. they adopted the name Brownie Mountain, which of course in German means "Brownie Mountain." They have performed at venues all over Chicago area such as the Subterranean, Pancho's, The Fireside Bowl and the Livewire Lounge
