About Brilhantines
Brilhantines is a brazilian band from Cerquilho, countryside of São Paulo state. Neto (vocals and guitars), Yuri (guitars), Nilton (bass) and Dadá (drums) bring back the brazilian 70´s elements, known as Jovem Guarda, mixed with world classics as The Beatles and Elvis Presley, providing a romantic, sweet and pure rock´n´roll sung in portuguese. The two releases, Cançonetas para Ti Entoadas (2001) and Tucatacá do Burumburum (2003), made Brilhantines reach good position in the brazilian´s underground scene, touring through many states and gathering faithful listeners.
