Brakelight Religion is a rock music duo based in Ohio and Texas. The band consists of Chris Tayor & Mike Blackheart who both contribute lyrics and compose music. The duo's earliest incarnation dates back to Halloween 2003 when they went under a different name and were a trio. After a few changes in name and style, Brakelight Religion have finally found their niche. Their best known songs are "Eyes of Amber", "This Is the Dawning of a New Revolution", and "Life on Mars". Their musical influences include a wide variety of artists, mainly The Beatles and Nine Inch Nails.
