Edinburgh based R&B band 1964 -66 issued 5 singles between 1964 & 65. Three were issued on the Edinburgh based Contemporary label and change hands for around £200 each. Matchbox / La Bamba CR101 (1964), You've been Talking About Me/ Nothing's Gonna Change CR102 (1964) and finally Contemporary CR103 (1964) What Kind Of Girl Are You/ I've Got Troubles Of My Own. Two other singles issued on Columbia in 1965 were I Believe To My Soul /I've Got Something To Tell You DB 7498 and Try Hard /No More Tears DB 7641. Personnel were as follows Tam White Vocals, Toto McNaughton Drums, John Turnbull Guitar. Alan Coventry Bass. White and McNaughton formed Buzz in 1967. White continued as a musician up to a few years ago. He also did some of the musical backing for the TV series Tutti Frutti. In 1987 White & McNaughton reformed the 'Dexters' and played a one of concert at the Ross Bandstand Princess Street Gardens in Edinburgh.
