About Bosphorus & Mode Plagal

The Turkish group Bosphorus and Greek Mode Plagal worked together on a 2005 release "Beyond the Bosphorus". The Bosphorus symbolises the difference between the two worlds, which are (at least in musical form) captured within this project. As the Mode Plagal website describes: "The two groups try with their music to capture the echo of the indescribable sound of this crossroad through time and space."
